This is an awesome Kit Kat bar. though the suggestion to try again is odd. Should I be trying for something in my Kit Kat experiences?
This was posted from my phone in an attempt to find a way to post more often... We'll see if it works.
I ate my first Kit Kat bar 42 years ago at the bowling alley in Roundup, MT. The fact that I remember that first bit attests to my "being bitten" and I would gladly try another.
KitKat rocks! Snickers will always be my favorite, but KitKat will do in a pinch. Did you read the wrapper? Could it be 1 in every million candy bars has a "you've won a year supply" or something? Or possibly, it's just a shameless attempt at marketing. Trying to get you to buy more candy.
I don't remember my first Kit Kat, but it was probably at Halloween, that was when we got the most selection of candy to try out.
I checked the wrapper and talked to Linz, who got the other one I bought, and it looks like there were 4 different Halloween designs, hers said something about collecting all four and had a witch. Which still doesn't explain why I would want to "Try" another. Maybe mine was sub-par and they knew it, but it seemed perfectly delicious!
I used to work at a regional utility that had several candy bar vending machines spread through out the three buildings. Anyway, I always had plenty of choices and new candy bars, such as Symphony and others, were always being stocked. One night Belinda answered the phone and it was someone conducting a survey so she handed the phone to me. To my delight, the survey was about candy bars. Belinda was surprised that I was able to answer all the questions because she hadn't heard of some of them. I, on the hand, had tried them all and had formed a strongly held opinion about them. Ha ha!
Steve-you sound like Kris. Whenever we go to a grocery store and I see something new I get all excited and he's like, "Yup that one was nasty, oh tried that one too, this is one you might like." I'm always behind on the new candies, guess that isn't horrible though.
