Life -
Ahhh.... Life!
When last we left the ROUS Motel, it was November in 2012. Now, in January of the big 2013, Our life is totally different. Both Lindsay and I have quit our Corporate, long term, stable jobs and we are working full bore, full time on Deeply Dapper and our writing!
Which is insane, frankly. I had been with Walgreens for just under ten years when I put in my notice. January first was my last day. It's been almost a week and it still hasn't really sunk in. I still feel like I'm on an extended stretch of days off. Once it does, it is possible I may freak out. Going from a steady, decent paying job to one entirely dependent on people on the internet liking your stuff and finding it in the first place is like jumping off of a cliff. On the bright side it's also a leap away from a soul sucking, anti-family monster and into the arms of a loving muse that wants you to be creative and happy.
More when I have stabilized a bit, but stay tuned, this blog will track our every success and failure as we strike off into the great unknown. If we can get out of the driveway. Lots of snow out here.
