Then, later, you come back to it and think to yourself, "No that can't be right. I must change it." Then you get your test back, and your first answer was right and you're super mad at yourself for second guessing yourself. So, er, long story short: I say go withAmandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03696275936253862761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7142835243333132161.post-79401855375434757772010-04-15T05:48:32.698-06:002010-04-15T05:48:32.698-06:00Are you nuts? And this would make her thoughtful, quiet little heart so happy.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10147284664183496856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7142835243333132161.post-29990609777784617312010-04-13T07:59:46.211-06:002010-04-13T07:59:46.211-06:00I think you should stay true to your original stor...I think you should stay true to your original story. I know I wouldn't like it as much if the characters were more "modern" as you say. The timeless feel to it was what kept me reading.

Other than adding some conflict like the twins getting into trouble or another character to play an antagonist role, I wouldn't mess with your original characters. Personally, I like characters I can relate to and like. Bitchy ones tick me off. Having said that, I don't read a lot of 'modern' literature. The newest book I read was either 'The Memory Keeper's Daughter,' or 'The Thirteenth Tale'Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04873955688383323549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7142835243333132161.post-76870193637917865382010-04-12T19:52:35.877-06:002010-04-12T19:52:35.877-06:00I thought it was great from the beginning, but I h...I thought it was great from the beginning, but I have to agree with Randy that a villain probably would prop up the tension in the story. Of course, the one thing I don't need it more tension. I have to agree, however, that the characters are quite lovable...especially Smith and his uncle.Steve at Randomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05850384298833289904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7142835243333132161.post-36915973059810426342010-04-12T19:37:35.853-06:002010-04-12T19:37:35.853-06:00I just love reading your blog, it's so the oas...I just love reading your blog, it's so the oasis I need each week.Jonathon Arntsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17366218140886892757noreply@blogger.com
